Veterinary Pharmacy

APPOINTMENT

As the prescribing veterinarian for your pet’s medications, we are able to ensure there is a direct link between the exam room and the pharmacy. This means your pet will receive the right medication, in the right form as quickly as possible. We will also be able to guide you on the use, administration, and side effects as well as monitor its effectiveness. You can also feel confident all the medications we dispense were obtained from safe, reliable sources and stored under the right conditions.

We maintain an inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, and parasite preventatives to meet the needs of your pet. Any product that we do not carry in-hospital can be easily ordered through our online pharmacy. Ensuring that you have convenient and timely access to medications is an important aspect of our veterinary practice.

Keep in mind that Washington Administration Code (WAC 246-933-200) requires that veterinarians shall use or prescribe drugs only within the context of a veterinary-client-patient relationship. A veterinary-client-patient relationship consists of the veterinarian having sufficient knowledge of the animal(s) to initiate, at a minimum, a general or preliminary diagnosis of the medical conditions of the animal(s). This means the veterinarian has examined the animal(s) within the last year, or sooner if medically appropriate.

Please allow 24-48 for all refill requests.
